Orientation 2010
Do you or anyone you know dream of owning your own home?
If home ownership is a dream of yours, Habitat for Humanity Newark cordially
invites you to join us for our first Family Selection Committee Orientation of
2010.
On Saturday, March 13th at 9:30am we will be kicking off a new application
process, searching for qualified families to enter our program to build and own
their own home. For your convenience, we will be holding two 45 minute
ORIENTATION sessions. To receive an application and begin the qualifying
process, attendance is mandatory at either the 9:30 am session or the 10:15am
session. (We cannot hand out applications for people who do not attend one of
these orientations)
1) Is your current housing unsafe, overcrowded, poorly maintained, and or too
expensive for you?
2) Are you and your family willing to work a minimum of 400 hours to help build
your home, and the home of your Habitat for Humanity neighbor and promote our
mission?
3) Is your annual gross family income at least $25,300 but no more than $76,250?
(family size dependant, - i.e. family size of 7 income max of $76,250)
4) Do you keep current with all bills and payments? Are all legal liens or
judgments paid?
If you answered Yes to these questions, then we invite your to join us for a
Habitat for Humanity Application Orientation meeting on Saturday, March 13th,
2010 at 9:30am.
