One of our most valued sponsors, Wells Fargo, has been a dedicated partner of Habitat of Greater Newark for almost 10 years; offering both volunteer and financial support.
“Wells Fargo has been a long-standing supporter of Habitat for Humanity here in Greater Newark and across the country,” said Tomas Porturas, Vice President and Senior Community Development Officer at Wells Fargo. “We believe in Habitat’s mission to provide affordable and decent housing for families and individuals in need. And thanks to their efforts, many local residents have been able to realize their dreams of homeownership and financial stability.”
The team helped construct the first house at Harmony Point from the ground up, and came out in full force last summer to assist with construction of the second house.
“We are so appreciative of Wells Fargo. Through their volunteer and financial support, Habitat of Greater Newark continues to strengthen our communities,” said Brian Champeau, Habitat of Greater Newark’s Director of Fund Development & Program Strategy. “Their efforts never go unnoticed as they have been such an amazing corporate sponsor.”
Since the inception of this partnership, Wells Fargo has contributed nearly $700,000 to Habitat of Greater Newark. The corporate sponsor has also spent hundreds of hours volunteering with the organization.
Stronger than ever, Wells Fargo’s commitment is invaluable and Habitat looks forward to a continuing partnership.
