With the help of volunteers like you, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark builds and repairs homes throughout the year, and we want your help–whatever your skill level is! Volunteers work on our construction sites across Newark and Essex, Hudson and Union Counties each week. You can sign up to help as much or as little as you want–the minimum commitment is just one day! Frequently asked questions about volunteering for Habitat of Greater Newark.

All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Youth ages 16 and 17 are not permitted to use power tools, and must be accompanied by an adult. Download the Parental Consent PDF Form needed for volunteers under age 18.
