My parents grew up in the south of the Unites States / Alabama and North Carolina and moved to Newark over 60 years ago. I lived on the same block for 60 years and purchased my home more than 25 years ago, before I had my daughter who is now 24 years old. I made the decision to invest in property for all the money I’ve worked hard to earn. I worked for Triple AAA in Florham Park for 30 years and am now retired. I started having repair issues in my home about 10 years ago and am grateful to have found Habitat for Humanity as a resource to assist me with ensuring my home continues to be a safe place for me to live.
