Things are moving swiftly at Habitat of Greater Newark!
Construction is now wrapping up at Phase I of Harmony Point, the urban-style condominium subdivision of 23 affordable two- and three-bedroom units in the South Ward. Habitat of Greater Newark will partner with Spring Corporate Challenge groups to complete our biggest project to date.
This year we extended our efforts to Orange, NJ taking on two gut rehabs located on Elm Street and Hickory Street. The house on Elm consists of four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms. The Hickory house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both houses are scheduled to be completely renovated by the end of this year.
“I am very excited as we approach the final stages at Harmony Point, and continue our efforts in Orange,” said Kercel Pemberton, Construction Manager for Habitat of Greater Newark. “Habitat is about family and we will continue to focus on making families smile.”
